OMGOMGOMG done

Well. I finally got around to finishing my MineCon video, and I have to say I'm very pleased with the results! I have it rendering as I type this and as soon as it's finished I'll give it the ol' post-publishing review and ship it over to YouTube!

Also developed a strong inspiration to try a challenge run of Minecraft using the increasingly popular PokéMobs mod. More on that as things develop. Until then, I guess that's everything I have to report. Actually, now that I have this MineCon video out of my way, which is arguably the biggest reason at the moment that I've been behind on recording, I can comfortably start recording more material. Excitement!

Ah, and one more thing. I'm going to do another video soon for an up and coming indie title called Against the Wall. Expect a video of that within the next day or two. I really want to get a jump start on that.

Looking ahead

So I learned yesterday that I am uncomfortable with talking into a camera when others are around, waiting for me to finish. I need to find a way to be alone while doing it, which may be difficult.
Anyway, here are some general plans I have for the future, with no particular order hammered down for these projects:
I have four Minecraft series I want to do. One is the secret one that I'm excited about and will likely start on with haste. The others involve mods and have particular themes to them; two focus on individual mods and one will have the hell modded out of it to demonstrate the capability mods have of adding and expanding upon content.
I also would like to do that series on Skyrim that I mentioned before. That probably won't start until I'm ready to dedicate time to it since I know the game is going to completely swallow my soul. In fact, it may just be wiser to not do it blind, to prevent potential confusion and character breaking.
Amnesia's on my list too, to be started whenever. It will definitely be a blind run. I'm so curious to start it.
One I've started but yet to publish is Duludubi Star. I want to finish more episodes before I start on that, but the series seems promising despite having a slow start.
A series with an even slower start is my THE DOG Island series. I've been playing with my new HD-PVR recently, with good results. I feel confident enough to start making new episodes to post soon.
In the future I'd like to do a run of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, specifically The Subspace Emissary. Had an inspiration recently for how I could make a Brawl series very interesting.
I Wanna Be The Guy! is still on the backburner. I want to work on it, but I'll need to be pretty bored or way ahead of the game, the latter of which is very unlikely.
Trying to find another crappy GBA game to play, and I'm hoping it's not Bratz again.
I think that's about it!

Balancing this stuff is hard!

Okay, so I want to apologize for the tardiness of my MineCon video. I'd like to take some time to explain why since it kinda explains my Friday-ish uploads.
The thing is that I still have to record the most important part of the MineCon video: my commentary via camcorder. This hard to do while juggling my family being able to interrupt me at any time, spending some time with my newlywed wife, and having pointy sticks shoved up my ass by work.
The video has never left my mind, but damn, balancing this stuff is hard! It will get done as soon as I have a decent opportunity; I'm off this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I know I can do this, I just need to figure out a system. And I know it can be done, because of my whole inspiration for my ambitions: Paul Soares, Jr. He's a husband, father, business owner, and gamer. I recommend paying him a visit, he's a super nice guy: http://www.youtube.com/paulsoaresjr
So yeah, that's it. Hang in there! Thanks for the support!

Progress and Plans

I got episode 29 of Let's Fail Minecraft Skylands up today. This one's a pretty good one in my opinion. Working on a new, short Minecraft Miscellany, and the MineCon video is starting to shape up. I'm hoping to have it finished by the end of this week. At best I could potentially have it done on Wednesday or Thursday.
I also have a new Minecraft series I plan to execute soon, after the MineCon video, but I will need to do some computer housekeeping before I really start on it. I'll upload a trailer for it when that happens.

Working on MineCon footage.

I have my footage safely moved onto my hard drive, now it's just a matter of getting all of this stuff into a presentable format.  I'm going to need to work out some good transitions and stuff, but past that it shouldn't be too much of an issue.  I really hope to have this done in a day or two.  Of course, if it doesn't get done today, then that means it'll have to wait until this weekend when I have some free time.  We'll see how much I get distracted! :P

I hope this sticks.

I originally had no plans on creating a Blogger account or a blog, but I got a sudden non-blog related spark of inspiration that lead me to this.  I'm still in the experimentation process so we'll see how this turns out.  Meanwhile, I guess I'll try to make use of this blog.

I call myself AgentBaron, and I make videos for YouTube.  Specifically, Let's Play and other such nonsense.  I like to play obscure games that are either very good and not well known or completely awful with a good potential for lampooning.  I also like to do Minecraft videos and currently have a series running called "Let's Fail Minecraft Skylands".  We're approaching episode 30 and I'm proud of that.

I'm planning a new series that I'll be starting soon as well, called "Stuporian: The Legacy of Minecraft".  It has a very unique concept to it and I hope anyone reading this will join me when it's ready to show.  I don't want to share any details yet; I'm very excited about this project and will try to have the first episode up as soon as I can. :)

Past Minecraft videos, I'm also planning a couple of more mainstream things, such as a blind LP of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and I'm considering a blind LP of Skyrim as well.  Skyrim's kinda shaky and I'll have to see how the first few recordings go before I decide if I want to pursue it or not.  In a nutshell, yes to Amnesia and maybe to Skyrim.

One might also notice a few I Wanna Be The Guy videos in my channel.  Yeah, those things are awfully old.  Even still I have *most* of the footage for it.  Sadly, I'm so lazy to get around to editing it all just because the recording quality is so terrible it would take hours upon hours of re-syncing audio here and there.  It's on the back burner still; I want to do it so bad, but I'm so lazy to get it done!

Anyway, I'm going to wrap things up for now.
